Riskya Duavania (b.1999) is a documentary filmmaker based in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Using their camera, Riskya always comes to people whom they believe have lived long enough and experienced life differently. Each encounter has inspired Riskya to live differently through the life choices each protagonist has made. Thus, Riskya is currently developing their first feature documentary about this, Becoming Riskya, an ongoing journey of self-discovery built from footage accumulated since high school. The film traces the complexities of becoming an adult while constantly learning how to live through filmmaking.

Becoming Riskya has been developed through Asia DocMonde, Docs by the Sea, IDFAcademy, and INTRODOX at CPH:DOX, and was presented at MeetMarket, Sheffield DocFest 2025. Beyond filmmaking, Riskya contributed to the documentary landscape as a film programmer at Festival Film Dokumenter Yogyakarta (2019–2022). In 2025, Riskya participated in Université d’été at La Fémis in Paris.
